ISIS militants kidnapped 127 children from the Iraqi city of Mosul and intends to turn them into jihad warriors, according to a Kurdish leader interviewed by IraqiNews.com.

The 11 to 15-year-olds will be taken to training camps where they will be indoctrinated with the terror group’s extreme ideology, Saeed Mamouzini, an official with the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Mosul told IraqiNews.com.

In the camps, young people are trained to fire weapons, learn combat moves and terror tactics. ISIS fighters are referring to their trainees as the ‘cubs of the caliphate’.

“ISIS had kidnapped hundreds of children during the last period, and they were trained to carry out suicide operations,’ Mr Mamouzini reported.

He said one father killed two ISIS fighters as they attempted to kidnap his son.

A Yazidi teenager recounted this week how that he was forced to appear in an ISIS propaganda video at a training camp where innocent boys as young as five received training to become jihad warriors, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

Raghab Ahmed, 14, said ISIS militants made him pray in front of an AK47 and taught him how to behead Christians and other ‘infidels,’ telling him: ‘Grab the head, pull it back and cut from the neck.’

He and his family were abducted by the extremists in northern Iraq last year, but escaped with the help of smugglers.
