A neighboring Protestant Church service experienced the rockets destroying the Greek Catholic Church and other buildings in downtown Sumy, a short distance away on Palm Sunday morning. The targeted rocket attacks are called a “double tap” where a second attack takes place after emergency responders have arrived. 30 people died in the attack.

Our hearts and prayers go out to our Ukrainian brothers and sisters in Christ during this Easter Holy Week.
