In one of the most egregious diplomatic faux pas in recent memory, the U.S. Ambassador

to the UN called for a diplomatic ‘final solution’ regarding Israel, echoing the Hitler regime’s precise terminology in its resolve to exterminate Jews during World War II.

“We will continue to actively engage in the hard work of direct diplomacy on the ground until we reach a final solution,” Ambassador Linda Thomas Greenfield stated on Tuesday, apparently oblivious to the loaded phraseology.

The “Final Solution to the Jewish question” was the official code name for the murder of all Jews within reach, which was not restricted to the European continent, according to Christopher Browning, author of The Origins of the Final Solution.

The infamous policy was devised by Nazi leadership in January 1942 at the Wannsee Conference held near Berlin, and culminated in the Holocaust, which saw the murder of 90% of Polish Jews, and two-thirds of the Jewish population of Europe, according to the Holocaust Encyclopedia.

Ambassador Greenfield knowingly or unknowingly repeated the loaded phrase. “Somebody put that in her speech,” noted commentator Hugh Hewitt. “This was Hitler’s term for wiping out the Jews, so you do not use final solution in regard to any resolution coming from the State Department having to do with Israel.”

“Her speechwriter is dumb or an ideologue who snuck one past the ambassador,” Hewitt surmised. “Somebody on her staff does not like the state of Israel and they put in something she did not recognize as a set-up,” he noted.
