Tyler Connell, with the Ekballo Project, was recently in the foothills of the Himalayas in west Nepal, one of the most unreached places of the world distributing Bibles, praying for the sick, and preaching the Good News.

The Ekballo Project uses film as a mobilizing spark on college campuses and churches to send believers into the unreached, unengaged regions of the world.

As they were trekking up a dirt trail in the foothills to a village they had visited on a previous trip, they were stunned by the sight of a man running full speed toward them, like a deer panting after water.

The man had apparently heard about their last visit and the power of the God they worship.

“He fell at our feet on the trail and showed us his paralyzed left arm and begged to be healed,” Tyler recounts.

Tyler’s small group surrounded the man and prayed for healing in Jesus’ name.

“Within 5 minutes he began to receive mobility and movement restored and all pain cease! He gave his life to Jesus on the spot, and ripped off his witchcraft amulet around his neck!”

Overcome with gratitude, the man began to freely express his feelings. “He started to dance and shout with joy while waving his now “new” mobile arm around in circles!” Tyler exclaims.

Tyler gives all the glory to God. “Ha! Jesus wins! He’s so much better than idolatry!”
